Support Pacifica children, youth, families and seniors

Together we made a difference for Pacificans in need.

Dear Pacificans,

This year Pacificans Care celebrates 39 years of supporting local social services for our young people, seniors, and families and now initiates our 2021 SHARE OF CARE fundraising drive. Our nonprofit organization could not continue without thoughtful donors such as you.

As a result of your generosity Pacificans Care was able to distribute $73,000 in grant funds this summer to our core social service agencies to meet critical needs of children, youth, individuals, families, and seniors in the community, including:

  • Pacifica Resource Center: $26,000 to address safety-net and emergency services for over 1,500 Pacifica households.
  • Pacifica Child Care Services: $10,000 to provide summer enrichment programs to children who would otherwise be unable to participate.
  • Pacifica Senior Services: $25,000 to provide socialization, life learning opportunities, health programs, and quality nutrition for our senior community.
  • Pacifica Youth Service Bureau: $12,000 to provide counseling to students at six Pacifica school sites, and to entire families in need.

The COVID pandemic created extreme challenges and needs in 2020-21 that impacted the Pacifica social service agencies.

The need for critical social services in Pacifica continues.

Please make your much-needed contribution to our annual 2021 SHARE OF CARE Drive. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Thank you for your consideration! Your support makes a huge difference for those in need.

Sincerely,

Pacificans Care Board of Directors
