Supporting Pacifica's Neighbors in Need

Pacificans Care, Pacifica’s community foundation, is kicking off our 2022 SHARE OF CARE annual fundraising drive!

This year, we celebrate 40 years of making a difference for Pacificans in need through our support of Pacifica’s four core social service agencies: Pacifica Resource Center, Pacifica Senior Services, Pacifica Child Care Services, and Pacifica Youth Service Bureau.

Thanks to your generous support, we have given over $1.14 MILLION back to our community since 1982. Last year alone, despite ongoing challenges, Pacificans Care distributed $98,500, including:

• Pacifica Resource Center:$31,500 to address safety-net services for housing, food security, transportation, financial stability, utilities, and pet care for over 1,500 Pacifica households.
• Pacifica Child Care Services: $13,650 to provide summer enrichment and educational programs, including swim lessons and field trips for children who would otherwise be unable to participate, along with holiday grocery gift cards.
• Pacifica Senior Services: $28,000 to encourage socialization, life learning opportunities, pet care, health programs, and quality nutrition for our senior community and specifically the Meals on Wheels program which delivers 2,000-2,400 meals to its 150+ clients each month.
• Pacifica Youth Service Bureau: $14,500 to provide therapeutic support to students at six Pacifica school sites and affordable therapy at its clinic site for more complicated cases and entire families.
